Bill Mullen Releases “The Beginning”

Bill Mullen entertains the crowd

Scottish singer/multi-instrumentalist, Bill Mullen has released his first solo CD titled, The Beginning.

The Beginning” consists of 14 tracks of classic traditional Scottish and Irish folks songs, inspiringly sung and performed by Bill.

Hailing from Dundee, Scotland, Bill took to music at the young age of twelve in an effort to participate in family parties with his neighbors the Gibsons’, who would host many music-filled celebrations. Those “beginnings” and formative years led to Bill performing on his own and in various bands in Scotland, the Netherlands and ultimately here in the USA, where he has been living for the past six and a half years. Bill has been playing mainly as a house draw at Maher’s Irish Pub but also at other pubs, restaurants and private events. To watch Bill perform is a guaranteed good time. He insists on engaging his audiences with clap-a-long, sing-a-long songs and even mixes in contemporary songs as well.

Now retired from the workforce, Bill has ramped up his musical endeavors with the new CD and plans to move ahead with more shows, traveling and performing as Bill says, “wherever the music takes me.”
